How to Use a Peptide Calculator

Start with the label, not an assumption

A calculator can only convert the values entered. Read the total peptide amount from the vial label and enter that number in milligrams. Do not enter a desired dose in the vial field.

Next, enter the actual liquid volume added to the vial. The relationship between total milligrams and total milliliters determines the concentration.

Enter the target dose in the correct unit

Target doses may be written in milligrams or micrograms. Select the matching unit. The calculator converts micrograms to milligrams before calculating a volume.

  • 1 mg equals 1,000 mcg.
  • 250 mcg equals 0.25 mg.
  • Never treat mg and mcg as interchangeable labels.

Read the result from left to right

First verify concentration, then dose volume, then syringe units. These are three descriptions of related quantities, not three separate recommendations.

The estimated dose count is a mathematical maximum before handling loss. It should not be treated as a promise of recoverable doses.

Use warnings as a reason to stop and check

A capacity or low-volume warning does not tell you how to change a preparation. It tells you that the entered values deserve another review with the product instructions and a licensed professional.
