What to verify before a TB-500 conversion

A TB500 calculator can check arithmetic only after the exact substance, mass, and liquid volume are known. The product name and each measurement unit need separate verification.

Match the calculation to the exact label name

FDA describes TB-500 as thymosin beta-4 fragment (LKKTETQ). Online pages may shorten, expand, or loosely exchange those names, but a calculator cannot prove that two products have the same substance or composition. Copy the full name and total mass from the current container before using a TB-500 dosage calculator.

Blended products need component-level amounts. If a vial lists only one combined mass for TB-500 and another peptide, entering that total as TB-500 overstates its concentration. Separate calculations are possible only when the label states the mass of each component and the same final liquid volume applies to both.

Keep the mg-to-mcg conversion visible

TB-500 vial totals are often written in milligrams while example targets are written in micrograms. One milligram equals 1,000 micrograms. The calculator converts the target to milligrams before dividing by concentration, but the original unit remains visible so you can check whether the correct scale was selected.

Using a hypothetical 5 mg vial and 2 mL final liquid volume, concentration is 2.5 mg/mL. A mathematical 500 mcg target equals 0.5 mg, then 0.2 mL, then 20 U-100 units. None of those example values establishes a target, cycle, frequency, or mixing instruction. They only show how the unit chain works.

Treat syringe units as the last conversion

The U-100 step comes after concentration and mL: multiply the calculated liquid volume by 100. Starting with a unit mark copied from a forum reverses that logic and hides the concentration assumption. The same 20-unit volume can contain different masses when two vials have different concentrations.

Review the result against the actual syringe capacity and markings. If a result is outside the device range or falls between readable graduations, the calculator has identified a measurement problem; it has not authorized rounding or a different preparation. Ask a licensed professional for product-specific instructions.
